New Warriors Fight|Book 1|Sun, Moon, Dawn and Rain

~Prologue~

It was a time for a gathering and the clans were all heading to the Fourtrees with the selected cats to talk about anything important or anything unusual in the clan territories. Sunclan was first to be there and then Dawnclan followed by Rainclan and Moonclan.
"I will go first to speak," said the yellow furred cat. "Sunclan has been doing fine and everything is peaceful in our territory. I would like to announce that Sunclan has two new kits, Smallkit and Thunderkit."
The cat backed down to wait for another leader to speak. The Moonclan leader stood and spoke. "Moonclan has nothing to report as well, everything is fine and enough prey to hold us for a while."
"Well Rainclan has had some problems with prey but I think we can hold out for now," said the Rainclan leader. "I just would like to give you all notice."
Then finally the Dawnclan leader stood to speak. "I would like to report some twolegs in our area recently. I think they are going to be there a lot more and they have been and will continue to scare off prey. Dawnclan would like to request for some extra land for the mean time." "That is insane!" said the Moonclan leader. "I agree with Moonstar," said the Rainclan leader. "Asking for more land is just not right. You'll just have to try to fend for yourself and your clan." The Dawnclan leader was furious. "That's just not right Rainstar, I mean, what if your clan had twolegs in your area, you would probably be asking more land as well!" "But I don't have any twolegs, now do I, Dawnstar?" said Rainstar. Dawnstar wasn't giving up just yet. He growled but turned to the Sunclan leader. "What do you think Sunstar? Will you be willing to give us land or not?" Dawnstar gave a glare towards Sunstar. "I wouldn't dare give up any land to Dawnclan!" said Sunstar. "Then it's settled," said Moonstar. "Dawnclan will just have to try to survive on their own prey but be warned Dawnstar, if any of your warriors step in my territory, we won't show any mercy!" The other clan leaders agreed and the meeting was over.
Moonstar and Rainstar had left but before Sunstar was able to leave, Dawnstar stopped by him. "Listen Sunstar, you know you can't deny my request, so please, let some of my warriors hunt in your territory," Dawnstar said. Sunstar growled. "I won't let you even step one paw in our territory!" Sunstar demanded. Dawnstar smiled and said, "You have no choice, you either let my clan hunt in some of your territory or I will share your secret to your clan and the other clans!" Dawnstar threatened and stared at sunstar one last time and walked away. Sunstar wasn't pleased to be threatened by Dawnstar but he couldn't let his secret be spilled. Sunstar walked towards his warriors and walked back to camp thinking on what he should do.

Well its a feeling, maybe she just acts like someone I know in real life but not the same person(?)

Afternoon actually

Ahh, close enough! ^-^ It's 4:12 A.M. here ^-^

For us it's 4:22PM now... Wait you're awake at 4:12AM!?!?! WOW!

Yeah, that's one thing you should know about me. I stay up a lot at night. ^-^ I sometimes never sleep. Leafsplash gets mad if I don't sleep ^-^

Why does Leafsplash get mad?

Because she doesn't like it when I am up all night not getting any rest. ^-^

~Chapter 18~

Leafrain, Silverstripe, Yellowstorm and Tigerpaw were on the hunting patrol. They walked all they way near Fox's Lair. The Fox's Lair is where Fox's sleep during Greenleaf. The cats were never able to make the foxes leave since they always seem to come back. The foxes that live there were never a threat to Sunclan, so they decided to leave them be during Greenleaf but since its was nearly Leaf-bare, there was nothing to worry about. Silverstripe stopped and so did the rest of the cats. He turned to face Yellowstorm and Leafrain.
"I will take Tigerpaw near the Dawnclan border and train with him a bit while you guys stay around here and look for some prey," he said to them. The she-cats nodded and Silverstripe took Tigerpaw and went to their left as Tigerpaw ran. Yellowstorm smiled. "Tigerpaw must be excited to be training more," she said. Leafrain smiled back. "You must be right, he seems to be energetic lately," she added. Yellowstorm nodded. "Yep. Now, let's look for some prey," she suggested as she went forward. Leafrain and Yellowstorm walked quietly not to scare any prey off. They both spotted a mouse at the same time and Yellowstorm went ahead to try and catch it. She crouched down and slowly went closer to it. Leafrain watched as Yellowstorm went ahead. Then Leafrain scented Tigerpaw coming closer to them. Yellowstorm was ready to pounce when Tigerpaw shouted Leafrain and Yellowstorm's name. Yellowstorm jumped but couldn't concentrate when he called her name and missed the mouse and it ran away.
Tigerpaw ran up to Leafrain and was panting. "What is the matter Tigerpaw, where is Silverstripe?" she asked him. "Silverstripe and I were about to start training when a Dawnclan warrior with a patrol named Snowsplash came to us. She said that she and her patrol scented badgers coming this way!" he said frantically. Leafrain was shocked. Have those badgers come back for a second wave? If they are coming back, does that mean they did finish off Redstripe and Whitepaw?
Yellowstorm came towards Leafrain with a angry look. "I missed that mouse! What is going on?" she asked in a harsh tone. Leafrain looked a Yellowstorm with a scared look. "What?" she asked. Leafrain was hesitant but then spoke. "Badgers, they are coming this way," she told Yellowstorm. Yellowstorm started to shake a little in fear. Tigerpaw nodded. "Yes, Silverstripe wanted me to inform you while he ran back to Sunclan camp to warn everyone else," he explained. Leafrain understood. "Alright, lets head back to camp ourselves and see what Sunstar would like us to do," she told them. Both cats nodded and they ran back to camp.
They reached back to camp and noticed that a clan meeting was about to start. Leafrain ran next to Morningfur. "Leafrain, you're back! Do you know what's going on, something seems to be bother Silverstripe," she asked looking confused. Leafrain was about to speak when Sunstar interrupted her as he began to speak. "Warriors of Sunclan, Silverstripe has reported to me that Dawnclan warriors had warned us that badgers are coming this way!" he said with a straight voice. "This must be what Waveheart had seen from Starclan. We must prepare right away and go towards Dawnclan camp. I am assuming that the badgers are going to fight Dawnclan before they come for us next, so it's our duty to assist Dawnclan," he explained to the warriors.
Onetail, an elder of Sunclan, was the first to speak. "Assist Dawnclan? Are you crazy Sunstar? I have heard that at one of the gatherings, they threatened to not give help to any clan that was in danger but we are going to help them?!" he said with anger. Sunstar closed his eyes and opened them. "I know, but I think that when the other clans hear this message, they will also try to help Dawnclan. The badgers have been scented around Dawnclan camp, so they must be close to them and not near us yet. We must help them!" he told the warriors.
Onetail backed down and Brightstep started to speak. "I agree. Sunstar and I already have decided who to bring and who to leave here just in case the badgers do come for our camp," he started to explain. "Sunstar will lead a patrol to Dawnclan with Leafrain, Yellowstorm, and Tigerpaw while I lead a second patrol with Silverstripe, Lightcloud and Darkpaw. I know this is a tough time for Sunclan with so few warriors but we must help our fellow clans. Morningfur, you will watch the camp with Onetail and Bigheart. I am sure that the kits will also be safe in your hands," Brightstep finished. Sunstar nodded and then spoke again. "Alright, lets prepare quickly and assist Dawnclan!" he chanted as the warriors chanted back and was dismissed for a battle they may never forget.

~Chapter 19~

Leafrain was walking along with her patrol. They were getting closer to Dawnclan. They were forced into helping Dawnclan. If they decided to not help Dawnclan, they might be destroyed by the badgers and then comes Sunclan or Moonclan! Leafrain looked at Yellowstorm's face. Yellowstorm seemed worried. Was she thinking about when she first encountered the badgers? Leafrain felt bad for Yellowstorm but now wasn't the time to go into dreaming about the worst. It was nearly moonhigh when they reached the Dawnclan border. Sunstar looked confused. "Huh," he began. "I would have thought that there would be patrols around the borders in case of an attack or something." Leafrain just stared at Sunstar. Then Sunstar crossed the border and headed to the Dawnclan camp. The other warriors were following close behind him.
They soon finally reached Dawnclan camp. The warriors were all worked up and running all over the place. Leafrain noticed that Moonclan warriors were here. Does that mean Moonstar thought the same thing as Sunstar? Sunstar found and headed towards Dawnstar. Sunstar got his attention and they faced one another.
"Sunstar, what are you doing in Dawnclan camp?" he asked demanding an explanation. Sunstar glared at Dawnstar. "I assumed you may need some help. I hear there are a lot of badgers coming this way anytime now," he said. Dawnstar growled at Sunstar. "That is true but we can do without your help!" he said ferociously. Sunstar stared at Dawnstar. "We just thought that we can come to your aid is all," he told Dawnstar. "Well, we don't need your help so get out of my camp!" he warned Sunstar. Sunstar was getting angry at Dawnstar. "We are offering you aid with our warriors and you are just going to turn us down and try to risk your own clan?" he explained to Dawnstar. Dawnstar growled even louder just when Blackclaw, a Moonclan warrior, hissed.
"Badgers, they are hear, sneaking from behind!" he warned the cats. Leafrain shot up and noticed that the warriors of Moonclan and Dawnclan were getting ready to guard the rear. The badgers were in a formation on a see-able hill. The leader badger seemed to be talking since his mouth was moving and the badgers started charging down. Leafrain watched the badgers and noticed that there were a total of fifteen badgers and then looked to check how many warriors were in the camp. Four from Sunclan, Six from Moonclan and Eight from Dawnclan. That's eighteen warriors total. We should stand a chance! she thought. The badgers were about to reach the first few warriors when all of a sudden, a badger got her from behind.
The badger was trying to claw her but Leafrain scratched its face and hissed. She looked from behind her and noticed another ten badgers. A total of twenty-five badgers! she thought fearfully. Leafrain wasn't so sure anymore if they stood a chance. She even wondered how there are so many from the start. She was scared and wished none of this happened. Just before she realized hope was lost, Rainstar came from the entrance with five other warriors and attacked the surprise attack of badgers.
More warriors! she thought. She calmed herself down and was ready to attack. She looked around as the battle began. She noticed that two badgers were on Mousetail, a Rainclan warrior. She charged to help her and pounce on a badger. The badger tried to claw her stomach but Leafrain thought fast and scratched its face twice. The badger tried to bit Leafrain and Leafrain got up. The badger started growling in a strange way. There are too many of them. Starclan, please help us!
